Card and Coffee card.

Lots of options with the new PEEK-A-BOO Taylored Expression Die. We created this FUN
card in Card & Coffee class on Monday. Sanding so the white core showed thru, adding stickles
to create depth and a paper ribbon made this card a good one for any occasion!
(not to mention the new Lawn Fawn pumpkin stamps & dies)

Halloween Armoire

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink here with my last post for September.  This will be my last post for a little while as I am taking the  month of October off,  I will be back in November (if Terri will have me ;) ) with some fun Christmas projects.

Last month I taught an 'Armoire' class at the store, and these lovely ladies all had fun creating a closet full of fun items for Marisol.

I thought I would change things up a bit for the holiday, so here is my project, a fun little Halloween decoration.

No that exciting when you look at the outside, but when you open it up, the fun begins...

Here is Marisol all dressed up as a witch, with shelves full of Halloween goodies.

I used so many dies to make the various items for the shelves (and so many I didn't - how cute would a little black cat be in there???)  Terri has tons of fun Halloween dies to choose from, not to mention that cute Pumpkin ribbon/trim.

I thought that Marisol should also have some fun clothes as well in her armoire.

Don't you just love those boots?

Well that's it for now - keep an eye on Terri and make sure she behaves while I am away.

Marisol Skating

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - thanks Terri for having me.  Another project today for you using the featured bundle of the month.

This time I dressed Marisol up for the winter and put her in a pair of skates, how cute are they?  Terri should have the skates in store by now, but if not they will be arriving soon.

I stamped the doll twice and cut out the same leg twice so that I could position it to make her look like she is skating.

I cut the hat freehand, altered clothing from another doll to make the skirt, added some pom poms and trim to make her scarf.  The sentiment is a sticker from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Don't forget to check back next week, you wont want to miss my final project for September.

Mixed Up Marisol on the Doorstep

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink, as always Terri thank you for having me.  Today I have another project using this month's featured bundle.

I cut out the screen-door die twice, trimmed them and stuck them together to make a larger screen-door that is more in proportion to the doll.  I just added a brad for the door handle and a sticker that I had in my stash.

Marisol looking a bit different? Does she have a new hairstyle?

Well you know I have lots (OK almost all) of the dolls, so I decided to swap out the head from a different doll to give her a new look.  I love the way you can mix and match with these stamps.  The clothes she is wearing are from the new clothes set (love that too!)

I added the steps at the bottom to give the tag a little dimension, and of course some flowers in a pot so I could use that cute trim that comes in the bundle.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my project today.  See you next time.

Presents Galore

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink.  Today I want to show you a use for the screen door  die that is part of this months featured bundle - using a little piece that many would throw away.

This little parcel is made from the square that you cut out from the bottom of the screen door - just cover it in washi tape or patterned paper, add a bow (this one is from Memory Box) and voila!

These washi tapes are from my stash, but Terri has some new ones in store, pop in and check them out.  Changing up the tape or paper gives you lots of different looks, the best put is you can probably do it all from scraps.

With the addition of and embossed frame around it you have a very elegant and simple card, suitable for many different occasions.

I hope you enjoyed todays projects, as always Terri thanks for having me.

Marisol at the window

Hi Everyone

Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink - thanks Terri for having me over to play on your blog.  Today I have a project using this month's feature bundle.  Terri has a fabulous deal on the latest bundle, be sure to pop into the store and check it out.

Here is Marisol tending to the flowers in her window box.  This isn't actually a window die, but rather a screen door - it's just great to use as a window for the dolls.

I love this particular green trim (one of the 2 you get in the bundle), it is just perfect for flower stems or vine.  Do you think that Marisol has noticed one of her flowers has wilted?

Don't forget to check on the great bundle deal, which includes 'Marisol' one of the newest Prima Dolls.

Thanks for stopping by - see you next time.
