Marisol Walking in a Winter Wonderland - Christmas in July
Hi Everyone
Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink. I cannot believe we are almost at the end of July, and so this is my last Christmas in July project that I have to share - of course it just had to be a doll tag!
The doll for this project is 'Marisol' (I think she is my favorite!) I altered her clothes a little so that she would be suitably attired for walking in a Winter Wonderland. I used Bo-Bunny again background and paper pieced clothes. The snowflakes are from Impression Obsession dies. I added some stickles and puffy paint for the snow and trim for her boots and hat. The photos don't show it terribly will but in sparkles quite nicely.
I hope you have enjoyed all the projects this month - I wonder what next month will hold? Until then.

MONOTONE TREE
Another fabulous card from De Anna!!
I cut two trees and glued them together to
give some dimension. Then using some of
my favorite embossing folders I created layers for the background, snow and
frame. A Wink of Stella pen is perfect to
highlight the snow and snowflakes. White stickles show off the ornaments on the
tree. I hope you have fun giving mono-tone a try!

A Warm Cup of Christmas - Christmas in July
Hi Everyone
Michelle from Lady of Leisure Ink, as always Terri thanks for having me. For my third Christmas in July project I decided to play with a cup die from Memory Box.
I inked the edges of the cups, added some puffy paint for marshmallows and then added the swirls (dies from Impression Obsession) for the steam - can you just taste the cocoa? The sentiment is a word die from Cheery Lynn. The background paper is from Bo-Bunny. Here are a couple of close-ups.
I also made a second project this week - a little gift bag (made with the We R Memory Keepers gift bag punch board.) Although I cut the cup with my Silhouette Cameo, you could just as easily use the same Memory Box die for this.
I used that same Impression Obsession die for the steam. Here is a look from the side so that you can see the dimension.
This would make a cute little gift for someone filled with a pack of cocoa and mini marshmallows don't you think?
Thanks for stopping by today. See you next time.

Snowboarding Adam - Christmas in July
Hi Everyone
Michelle here again from Lady of Leisure Ink, with my second project for Christmas in July. This week I have used one of the newest Julie Nutting dolls. her guy doll 'Adam'.
How cool is he in his ski mask and hat, toting a snowboard? The background paper is from Bo-Bunny, I just loved all the colours in this. This is a section cut from the back of a 12 x 12 sheet, I quite often find that I may not be able to use sections like this on a scrap booking layout, but they are perfect for a card.
Here are a couple of close-ups.
Thanks for stopping by to check out today's project, see you next week!

A Trio of Trees - Christmas in July
Hi Everyone
Michelle here from Lady of Leisure Ink, welcome to my first 'Christmas in July' post. I had so much fun reaching for the Christmas papers and dies for these projects - kept me nice and cool in my craft room when my AC quit working!!!!
Here are my first projects.
For this card I used the tree die from Memory Box, I really love the different ways you can use this die. I mounted 3 trees on to acetate and then 'blinged' them up a little.
I then took the cut out tree and used it as a stencil and made this simple tag.
I really love how versatile this die is - we would love to see the different ways you come up with using this (or any of your dies/crafting supplies.)
As always Terri - thanks for having me, and see you all next week.

ORNAMENT CARD
Hi,
It is an honor to be asked to
create some designs for Terri. Today I
used the Ornaments die from Penny Black.
Taking double sided paper from the Bo Bunny line called Midnight Frost,
I cut and layered the paper. Then using
the die, I cut ornament windows. Pop
dots elevate the layer before adding some charms to the center of the ornament
from 7gypsies. Terri had some sheer
white polka dot ribbon that I colored with an alcohol marker to coordinate with
the Bo Bunny Paper. The end result is a fun card to send to a special person
during the Holidays.
